Hi, I’m Maureen Lange, and together with my husband Howard we own and operate Bridge Lodge.

Affordable, dynamic and perfect for large groups, our facilities have been used over the years for anything from weddings, 21sts and school trips, to a meeting place for hobbyists and an escape for family vacations.

Started as a challenge, maintained as a lifestyle

We started Bridge Lodge in 2000, seeing the potential in it to be a convenient combination of affordable accommodation and venue hire – all in the one place. Over the years we have grown to love the lifestyle it gives us; meeting new people every day, and being around all your fun events and special occasions is a great pleasure!

Have your event – then stay the night

Here at Bridge Lodge you don’t have to worry about your guests getting home safely. You can have them stay with us, either in our campsite or in one of our rooms for a very affordable, affordable price. Clean, tidy and cozy, our group accommodation is a great way to end an even better night!

Flexible facilities so that you can make your trip, or night, your own!

We have dedicated Bridge Lodge to being flexible to your requirements. Do self catering or bring in your own caterers and use our full commercial kitchen; bring your own alcohol; have a bonfire; decorate our hall to be formal – or informal! Our grounds are yours to explore and customise to reflect your personal needs and tastes.

Located in Otaki, convenient to a range of places within the Manawatu and Horowhenua

Whether you are a school in Wellington looking for group or team accommodation, or a bride to be in Palmerston North, our location in Otaki means that we are convenient to a range of locations throughout the lower North Island.
